When Pigs Sink
“I am very unhappy with Halton Conservation’s lack of leadership in controlling giant hogweed. It started in my area of Halton Hills as a small plantation north of Scotch Block reservoir over 40 years ago on conservation land. It was left to spread downstream over the years while no money was spent on its control. And now Conservation Halton wants private landowners to bear the cost of irradicating it on their properties. It’s time Conservation Halton made a bigger commitment to watershed management” – Geoffey Knuff
